Absolute ardor is in store for the endearingly foxy Cherie Jimenez as she weaves her magic touch on TV once more. She’s guest-starring in the episode “Innocent Might Be a Bit of a Stretch” from the Cinemax hit show “Banshee” as Jill Francis, a woman who is accosted by a hooded figure in last week’s instalment “Job”. We do learn of her fate and the serial killer/killers responsible that are being hunted by Agent Veronica Dawson (Eliza Dushku) are not just your average perpetrators. There’s going to be blood and Cherie shines in the harrowing scenes of her character’s abduction. April might be the month of film festival fever but it’s also the advent of passion-worthy women of television such as the alluring Cherie. Sometimes I wish there were more than 24 hours in a day to give a shout out to the stirringly wonderful ladies of entertainment.
Cherie has also worked opposite some of the hottest women we know such as Shay Mitchell (Pretty Little Liars) and Connie Britton (Nashville). Horror fans would have seen her in “Blood Shed”, trumping up the scare factor as Jezebel, a spirit of vengeance that prowls for victims at a storage facility while searching for her lost baby. Indeed, Cherie has the blend of sultriness and demureness, ideal for long term adulation.
