Every year the women who have entertain us in the horror genre shows us how generous they can be and they continue to endear themselves to us. In 2013, they banded together to raise money for women who are afflicted by breast cancer in the annual BOWLING FOR BOOBIES event which happens on Oct 6.
While their sexiness is a given, the horror starlets warm our hearts for doing this most wonderful of charitable work. It’s great to see Carlee Baker, Anne McDaniels and Natalie Victoria (who by the way are already my idols) touching the hearts of so many. As much as we are turned on by their delectable onscreen appearances, it’s the emotional goodwill generated by them that will be just as memorable. These amazing ladies do make us want to be a better man by following their magnanimity.
Kudos to Carlee, Anne and Natalie for making a difference in the lives of women and Team Horror Starlets is one that’s representing the truest form of entertainment. They’ve been inspirational beyond the screen and permeate benevolence to people. It does mean we’ll be watching them avidly and the clips (below) confirm they’re delectable in every way…;)
With her enviable pixie looks and soft features, LAUREN ASHLEY CARTER is steadily making a name for herself. She stars in the horror flick “Jug Face” which is anything but ordinary. She plays Ada, a pregnant teen who discovers the nefarious intentions of a backwoods community to make her a human sacrifice for a demonic creature. She does have some intense scenes with Sean Young who is her onscreen mother in this terrifying tale! Once again the horror genre is represented by a beautiful ingenue in the form of LAUREN who is set for big things. It’s appropriate to refer to her as a talent to watch having once starred in a drama “Rising Stars”. Some may have remembered her tragic performance from the “The Woman” as the emotionally detached elder daughter Peggy Cleek whose father imprisons the feral Woman in his barn. LAUREN has perfected the art of taking on the persona of outsiders and is tangibly authentic in her scenes on film.
On the mainstream side, viewers can catch her opposite Joseph Gordon-Levitt in the high-octane “Premium Rush” and in the hit TV series “Law and Order:SVU”. LAUREN does have that sweetheart appeal yet her inclination towards complex, often maligned roles is a testament of her adeptness to challenge herself as an actress. It won’t be too long before the masses start noticing her body of work for she’s an all round captivator.
