Natalie Roy

We so often jump at the chance to feature the cutest ladies on TV and the lovable Natalie Roy is at her most endearing this week. She appears on “The Detour” playing Delilah’s school teacher at her talent show! Among some of the hilarious scenes she’s in include the one where she gets yelled at by Delilah (Ashley Gerasimovich) to get off the stage. As a mentor, her perky jovial nature is a stark contrast to the obnoxious behaviour shown by the loutish, swearing Delilah. Such is the irreverent humour, at times bordering on cheeky insolence on “The Detour”, that one should find as I have that this is a show worth its weight in comedy gold. While Natalie didn’t get to partake in scenes with Natalie Zea having worked with her before on “The Following”, she has revealed that Jason Jones directed this most hilarious episode which is one of many skits in this 2nd Season.

Do look out for Natalie as an FBI Agent in “Power” when the 4th Season of the STARZ series returns this June. She has also appeared alongside Joshua Jackson and Ruth Wilson on “The Affair” as well as guest-starring on an intense episode of “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit”. She points to the warmth of stars Mariska Hargitay, Ice-T and Kelli Giddish which would have made it a most wonderful on-set experience for her. She also has the distinction of playing Detective Murdoch’s late fiancee Liza during the early years of “Murdoch Mysteries”.

She is also the author of the book “30. 30 Years, 30 Lessons” which chronicles 30 stories that spanned the first 30 years of her life, her accomplished writing an extension of her fetching talents. Natalie is the princess of effervescence who should be bestowed with avid plaudits from her admirers.
